Infinite Reiki is the healing practice of Mary Putnam Peck RN. Mary is a medical professional with over 17 years experience in several medical disciplines. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher certified in several schools of Reiki. Infinite Reiki is a full service Reiki practice with private sessions scheduled by appointment, classes in Usui Reiki Ryoho levels I, II and Master, Reiki Drumming(TM) and Gendai Reiki-Ho levels Shoden, Okuden, Shinpinden and Gokuikaiden. I also participate in several shares or healing circles each month. If your group would like a talk or demonstration of Reiki I am also available for educational outings and Employee appreciation days.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a healing practice which, in it's current form, originated in Japan in the early 1920's when Mikao Usui in a moment of Enlightenment saw the entire system laid out before him in it's entirety. Reiki practitioners place their hands slightly above or lightly on the person receiving the treatment. The client is fully clothed at all times. The goal is to facilitate the client's own healing response by channeling energy to the client. This energy helps the client bring their own energy field back into balance and facilitate healing.
If you choose to study Reiki it can not only be used as a healing modality, it can aslo be a part of your spiritual growth as well.
Working with the body's subtle energy field and bringing the body back into balance with nature has been a part of homeopathic medicine for most of human history. First Nation's medicine men and women, acupunturists, herbalists, those who practice "Laying on of Hands" all work at some level to bring us back to balance through working with our energetic body.
